Diane Loft, M.S., C.C.C-SLP

Diane Loft is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has more than 30 years of clinical experience in treating a broad range of the most common speech and language disorders in the preschool and school age population. Her areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of children with speech and language delays, articulation, disorders of language comprehension and expression, auditory processing and learning disabilities.

Diane has been in private practice in Scarsdale, New York for the past 15 years. She was formerly the Co-Director of Speech-Language services at the Churchill School in New York City, a school specializing in Learning Disabilities. She was also a senior Speech-Language Pathologist at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York and a clinical therapist at Chatterbox in Hawthorne, New York where she supervised the training of graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College and Lehman College.

Diane received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College and her Masters Degree from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She is ASHA certified (American Speech-Hearing-Language Association) and New York State licensed. Additional certifications include TSSLD (Public School Certificate in Speech and Language Disabilities) , EI (Early Intervention), CPSE (Committee on Preschool Special Education) and CSE (Committee on Special Education).

Diane was a board member of The Scarsdale & Edgemont Family Counseling Service. She is currently a member of ASHA, WSHLA (Westchester Speech-Hearing-Language Association), and NYSHLA ( New York State Speech-Hearing-Language Association).

Diane’s professionalism, clinical skills, results-driven intervention and child friendly approach make her a highly regarded clinician by both parents and children.

Diane currently lives in Scarsdale, New York with her husband and is the proud parent of two daughters.
